ADHD Emotions Track

As someone who was diagnosed with ADHD and dyslexia at a very young age, I am all too familiar with the accompanying anxiety, confusion, impulsivity, rejection sensitivity and low self-esteem marked by these challenges. The struggle extends beyond the classroom as you battle yourself to just feel “normal.”

Years of feeling as though you just can’t keep up and “too sensitive,” leave you with a defeatist mindset and a belief that you are just meant to fail, while your counterparts seemingly live lives of self-discipline, emotional balance and proficient time management skills.

In my personal journey, through building self-awareness, building a deep sense of inner safety, understanding what my unique journey of self-care looks like, how to develop intimacy with God, understanding the impact of stimuli, learning how to navigate self-sabotage, anxiety and rejection sensitivity, building nutrition literacy and a movement practice, my path started to shift in the direction I had always dreamed about.
